WELCOME TO THE SUNSHINE DISTRICT
Our Service Area covers the south-central to the southwestern parts of the
state of New Mexico. The district extends from the town of Truth or Consequences and Elephant
Butte Lake in the north, to El Paso, Texas and the Mexican border to the south. We cover from
White Sands Missile Range on the east to the towns of Silver City and Deming on the west. The
largest city in our scouting District and the second largest city in New Mexico, is Las Cruces,
this is where most of our meetings and training events are held.
